So...I've been working on a blanket...

I found yarn under the brand name of "I Love This Yarn" and it's one of the best wool yarns I've used. It's surprisingly soft, it doesn't split, and it doesn't tangle as it comes out of the skein. I hate getting down to the last quarter of a skein and spending half the time working on the project untangling yarn.
(Now, nowhere on their packaging to they claim any of those things except for the softness.)

Here's my progress after a few rows:

And here it is right now, after many more rows:

I altered a pattern I found at Bernat.com.

Ch width you would like blanket to be.
Row 1: In 2nd ch from hook, sc. Sc in each ch until the end of the ch. Ch 3, turn.
Row 2: Dc in first sc. Skip next two sc. Dc-ch 1-dc in next sc. Repeat to end of row. 1 dc in last sc. Ch 3, turn. Repeat row 2 until blanket is desired length:)

Only 8 days until Christmas:D
