Busy Week!

I have been taking on some small projects around the apartment this week. The curtains on our biggest window were just hanging at odd intervals (to let in air from the windows) and it looked...messy. So I made some quick ties with White Bernat Baby Coordinates yarn (doubled up for strength) and this was my result:

Here's a rough pattern:

Using thicker yarn or doubled yarn, ch to desired length. Then, SC in each ch to end.
To create tassels, cut about 10-15 lengths of yarn about 5-7in in length. Pull them through the last SC at each end of the strip so that there is a loop on one side and ends on the other. Pull the ends through the loop and tug until they're tight. Then trim any uneven ends.

*Hint: If you're making more than one, make sure you count your ch so that they can all be uniform.

I had two more projects this week, but those will be for another post:)

Happy 4th of July weekend, everyone!
