Crocheted Baby Blanket

My brother in law and his wife recently had their first little one, and I used this pattern from Bernat to make them a baby blanket. It was fairly easy and the squares went together as you went along. I took my time on it, but finished it in about a month. The border around the edge took maybe two sittings.

Here's the finished product:

It looks very delicate, but I've been told by my sister in law that they've used it and that it feels pretty sturdy to them. I was a little wary because there's a tie off on every square, but it's holding together very well :)
